Big Rock Landscaping is a premier contractor offering design, installation, and maintenance services in residential and commercial settings throughout Utah. Since our beginnings in 1990, we have grown into a team that collaborates with designers, architects, and property owners in providing versatile outdoor living spaces.
What hasn't changed in thirty-five years: every project has one principal who walks the site, signs the design, and stays on the job from first conversation to final walkthrough. No subbed-out crews. No swapped contacts. One firm — and one person — accountable for the whole outdoor environment.

Business Development / Owner
Brandon is responsible for building and driving business development, bringing 30 years of entrepreneurial experience to the landscape industry. His passion for landscapes started at an early age while living in the Pacific Northwest. Brandon oversees every project and enjoys the relationships he is able to build with customers throughout the design and installation process.
Project Manager
Luis is a Big Rock veteran. He oversees projects and manages a talented team of crew members. Luis is constantly pushing the limits of what can be achieved in landscape design with new techniques that deliver impressive results. He brings a wealth of knowledge and an eye for detail and design to every project. When he's not managing award-winning projects, Luis can be found working with cars.
Business Development
Chris brings business and technical savvy to Big Rock. He is responsible for building and driving business development by working with key partners in the industry. Chris joined the team in 2013 and has brought key systems to Big Rock's organization. Chris is a graduate of BYU's Marriott School of Management and holds a degree in Management with an emphasis in Finance.
Bookkeeping / Managerial Accounting
Barrett helps keep Big Rock running smoothly by providing bookkeeping and managerial accounting services. Whether it is while processing payroll, managing AR and AP accounts, or ensuring effective business processes, Barrett is dedicated to helping customers and employees alike.
Customer Service / Bid Scheduling
Annette joined the Big Rock team in April 2019. She schedules bids and follows the job process from beginning to end. She loves customer service and the opportunity to interact with our customers whether it's face to face, on the phone or through text. She's committed to making sure we meet the expectations of our customers. Annette enjoys seeing our customer's landscaping dreams come true.
Business Development / Sales
Taylor is excited to assure that the year ahead will be another organized and outstanding year for Big Rock — making sure customers find their dream landscape through his great help and communication skills. Taylor is always looking for new ways to bring in projects so that more Utahns can experience the sensational work of Big Rock.
Permitting / Compliance
Cole is our liaison to the city governments. He handles all of our permitting to ensure that we are in compliance with the law before we start any construction. Beyond that, he helps management with whatever they need to help the operation run smoothly.
Lead Foreman
Francisco is one of our lead foremen. He combines construction and equipment expertise in order to ensure that all of our work is high quality and on time. He works directly with Brandon and Luis to keep our projects moving forward.
From the first walkthrough to the tenth season of maintenance, you work with the same Big Rock principal — and the same crews who built it.
We meet on site, walk the property, and listen — to the way you live, the way you entertain, the views you want to keep, the spots that need to disappear.
Detailed CAD plans, 3D renderings, plant palettes, and a written budget — coordinated with your architect and builder so the land reads like part of the home.
In-house crews, no subcontractors. Hand-set stone, custom pools, lighting, and irrigation — installed by the same people who designed it, supervised by one principal.
Year-round care from certified arborists and irrigation specialists — so the yard at year ten looks like a more mature version of the yard at year one.
